Sherin Shringar, famously known as Sherin is a model turned actress in the Tamil & Malayalam film industry. She made her debut in Tamil with Thulluvatho Ilamai (2002).

Sherin Shringar, hails from the state of Karnataka, and she was born in Bangalore to Ali (Businessman in Iran) and Yasodha(Housewife). She started modeling in her teen ages and she got the chance to act in her first film when she was only 16 years in the Kannada film Dhruva.

She shot to fame with her debut film Thulluvatho Illamai. She made the youngsters hearts skip a beat with her first film. She came in just a few scenes in her second film Jaya but managed to liven them up by her vivacious presence. Followed was Student No 1 where she played opposite debut Sibi Raj(Sathyaraj’s son). She was critically acclaimed for her performance in the film Whistle. Sherin did full justice to the role, which had grey shades. She is flooded with offers from Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi films. She is choosy and prefers to accept only roles, which has scope for acting.

She recently appeared in the hit Malayalam flim Moonnamathoral, cor-staring with Jayaram, Jyothirmai and Vineeth. Sherin is staring together with Nanda for a film which is tentatively titled Coffee Shop.
