Career : Manoj is familiar to Telugu audience right from his child hood. He played many roles as a child actor in his own banner movies when his father Mohan Babu is shown as a kid in flash back. He got many appreciations for the role he did in the movie Punya Bhoomi Naa Deshm starred by his father.

He produced many movies under the banner of Lakshmi Prasanna Pictures. He has got an elder sister Lakshmi Manchu and an elder brother Vishnu Manchu who is also an upcoming actor in Tollywood.

He started his career as a hero in 2004 with a movie called Donga Dongadi which is remade from a Tamil movie called Thiruda Thirudi. That was an average grosser at BoxOffice. He didn't have any hits after that. Raju Bhai in 2007 turned out be a below average even though the movie plot and narration was good.

His latest flick Nenu Meeku Telusa...? is reviewed as an experimental movie. The movie revolves around a recurring amnesiac. It was weaved on the basis of an English movie Clean Slate.It turned out to be an Average at the Box Office.. In 2009 his firstmovie Prayanam was released in may & that movie gave him much breakhe needed. Prayanam turned to be a hit at box office.
